We are partnering with the City of Portland's Bureau of Sustainability to plant a community of new pollinator and native plants at our orchard to improve water quality and support a healthy ecology at North Portland's only community orchard.

Neighborhood to the River is a program of the City of Portland, Bureau of Environmental Services. We are working with neighbors, businesses, community groups, schools and other partners in the New Columbia and Portsmouth Neighborhoods to identify and implement stormwater improvement projects, focusing on green solutions such as planting of trees, native and pollinator-friendly plants and rain gardens. We work to improve neighborhood health and livability, urban wildlife habitats and the quality of water flowing to the Columbia Slough.
