Our Village Gardens makes it possible for people living in Oregon's largest affordable housing neighborhoods to grow their own food, gain employment through locally created food projects, and have access to a community-run grocery store. Our Village Gardens' staff work alongside Community Leaders to create new initiatives that promote both economic and food resilience.
OVG’s Board of Directors is a volunteer position (a small monthly stipend offered) and no experience is necessary! The time commitment is approximately 4 - 8 hours per month in meetings, plus event participation 3 times per year.
